Well, we are surviving our first Minnesota winter! Only a couple more months of subzero weather and we will be through :) Since the last post we enjoyed a quiet Christmas with just the 3 of us, we celebrated New Years Eve at 5pm in my call room, we went back to DC to see the fam and then to Chile. And now it's back to the usual: Kevin back to traveling, me back to working 80 hour weeks, and Cata still being adorable as ever. Here is a recap in pics:

Fortunately MN has tons to do during the long winter. This was a trip to the Children's Museum which was a blast!

Some more sledding shots. It must be Kevin's genes, but Cata loves playing in the snow. I guess that's a good thing considering where we live.

Showing off the adorable hat from Mel and Brad

Oh man, are we in trouble or what! :)

Here are some DC pics:

Then the Chile pics:

She LOVED the sand. There really isn't much that she doesn't put in her mouth, but the sand seemed to be a favorite. And with her gastroenteritis, it was quick to come out!

Visabuela (great grandma) Eliana saying goodbye to Cata and I on our last day.

Ok, so this one has a story. We arrive to Chile Tuesday morning, have a great day, put Cata to sleep at her normal time. Then around 2am I hear her fussing. I check on her and am pulling her out of her crib when I get vomited on. Well, that was just the beginning of a weeks worth of vomiting and diarrhea. This picture was after Cata had an explosive GI loss. It was so messy that we put her in a plastic bag to carry her from the kitchen to the bathroom without dripping on Grandma's carpet :) Ahh, the memories kids can give you.

Back to MN:

This one is for our friends (Laurie, Sarah, and Mel) who have told us we need to get a dog. Why get a dog when my daughter chooses to crawl around the house with things in her mouth. Haha.

Ok, well that's it for now.
